As a constituent of Rep. Jim Hagedorn in Minnesota Congressional District 1, I am disappointed with his loyalty to Donald Trump in all things over that of his constituents.
The recent actions of the seditious insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, urged on and approved of by Donald Trump, increased that disappointment. After Congress reconvened later that evening to certify the electoral vote victory for Joe Biden, Rep. Hagedorn's name is listed in opposing the EC votes of Arizona and Pennsylvania. Rep. Hagedorn's name is also on record for supporting the Trump court lawsuits to overturn the results of the November election.
Rep. Hagedorn's shame should be noted that he is on the wrong side of history. Donald Trump will be remembered for the chaos, the destruction and the desecration of the U.S. Constitution and the Rule of Law. The images of the damage inside the nation's Capitol will remind us of that legacy.
Rep. Hagedorn's legacy will be stained forever due to his undying loyalty to Donald Trump.
