On Rosh Hashanah, we celebrate the creation of the world. But before the world could be created, Jewish tradition teaches that a divine act of “tzimtzum” (contraction/concealment) had to occur in order to make space for creation to come into being.

Together with Rabbi Elizabeth Bonney-Cohen, we’ll explore this concept and look for ways it connects to our High Holiday experience. All are welcome; no prior knowledge or background necessary!

This is a discussion-based class where video and audio participation are encouraged; you will be invited to share your thoughts, with no obligation to do so.
