Taco Bell super fans have a whole new way to show off their fandom. The brand is now expanding its digital experience for customers (and accompanying perks) to make it even more rewarding. To celebrate, the brand is giving away a free $5 Chalupa Cravings Box to registered app users nationwide, before the rollout of a new loyalty program this July.
On Tuesday, June 30 fans can snag the $5 Chalupa Cravings Box for free by downloading the app and ordering ahead, then heading to their nearest participating U.S. Taco Bell drive-thru for contactless pickup. The new offer will be available for new and existing app users, with no purchase necessary. The $5 Cravings Box includes a Chalupa Supreme, Beefy 5-Layer burrito, Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists and medium drink. (price and participation may vary.)
Taco Bell has already been making Tuesdays a little more craveable for fans. In March, the brand made a commitment to feed America for free every Tuesday for an entire month and gave away 7 million Doritos Locos Tacos. This Tuesday will be even more epic as the $5 Cravings Box takes Taco Bell’s digital offers to the next level with gifting more craveable menu items fans know and love.
“We’re excited to elevate our digital ecosystem and bring our biggest fans an even more convenient, safe, and rewarding experience at Taco Bell,” says Taco Bell’s Vice President of Digital, Zipporah Allen. “Exclusive experiences in our app - like a free Chalupa Cravings Box and earning points towards free food with Taco Bell Rewards - are just the start of the many digital initiatives that we plan to bring fans throughout the year.”
The brand is also launching a beta version of Taco Bell Rewards, a fire way for fans to earn free tacos (and more) for eating tacos. The loyalty program begins to rollout via the Taco Bell app nationwide in just a few weeks and free Doritos Locos Tacos will be up for grabs just by joining the program.
Here’s how it works: download the latest Taco Bell app. Make qualifying purchases on the app and earn points faster than you can spell D-L-T. Enrolled fans earn 250 points for every $25 spent and 250 points earns you a free reward. Being a part of Taco Bell royalty also means unlocking VIP rewards like birthday gifts, bonus point challenges and exclusive offers that unlock special deals.
The Taco Bell app is the easiest way to order fan favorites, and it’s also the best way to get contactless service through the drive-thru by skipping payment at the window completely.
