Leader of Manatt Entertainment Lindsay Conner and associate Cailey Cavanaugh represented ITV Studios America (the U.S. arm of top British broadcaster ITV Studios) in a recently closed deal with well-known producers Dan Sackheim and Tony To, which resulted in the creation of and long-term financing for Bedrock Entertainment. The new production company, which will develop and produce premium television content for the global marketplace across network, cable and streaming platforms, already has multiple projects in the pipeline, including Barry Eisler’s bestselling book series centered around Japanese-American assassin John Rain.
This is the third transaction that Conner and Cavanaugh have worked on with ITV Studios America this year, including advising the broadcaster on the creation and long-term financing for a new animated television production company called Work Friends alongside producer Nick Weidenfeld.
