Corner Bakery has announced the launch of a new loyalty program where members can earn rewards for ordering catering, dine-in, online, or through the new app, for pickup or delivery. For every $1 spent in-café, online, or through the app, members of the program will receive five points towards unlocking the next tier.

7-Eleven Offers Seven Free Cups of Coffee to Loyalty Members
7-Eleven has announced a new promotion for 7Rewards members. Starting now and running through August 9, if the 7Rewards member downloads the 7-Eleven app, then they can get seven cups of coffee for free. After the promotion’s end, 7Rewards members get any size coffee for just a dollar or any Big Gulp for 49 cents.

Kum & Go Expanding Urban Store Concept
Kum & Go has announced it is expanding its urban store concept after opening its first in May. It plans to open stores in multiple locations, including Denver. These locations will highlight healthier food options including grab-and-go offerings. Though, it will not offer food service items like a roller grill.
The walkup locations will also offer compostable silverware and food containers made from recycled materials. "We see this as a very upscale convenience store," Niki DePhillips said, senior vice president of store development for the retailer, in the above Convenience Store News article.
Walmart’s Amazon Prime Competitor Will Launch in July
According to a Recode article, Walmart will launch its Amazon Prime competitor later this month, titled Walmart+. The program will cost $98 a year and include perk such as same-day delivery of groceries as well as general merchandise, discounts on gas at Walmart’s fuel stations, and access to product deals early.
According to the above article, “Walmart also has plans to add video entertainment components to the program, though the details of this remain unclear. This week, Walmart is unveiling an online family entertainment program called CAMP by Walmart, in partnership with the retail startup CAMP and the online video technology firm Eko. This video content, featuring celebrities like Neil Patrick Harris, Drew Barrymore, and LeBron James, will be free to all Walmart app users this summer. But the program could point to a future where similar programming is gated off for Walmart+ members. Walmart has also considered partnering with big media companies on video content perks.”
