People of all ages are invited to hear former teacher Karl Magnuson’s fascinating presentation, “God’s Marvelous Design in Honey Bees” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, at the Berean Bible Church, 211 W. Beaver Ave., in Fort Morgan.
An experienced beekeeper, Magnuson will share interesting insights about how bees maintain the hive at an even temperature year-round, why they build the comb in hexagonal blocks, and which colors they can see with their five eyes.
The meeting is sponsored by Northeast Colorado Creation Group, a nonprofit, non-denominational ministry whose mission is to offer alternatives to evolutionary theory. This educational group brings in speakers from across the country for its free monthly meetings and welcomes children, teens, and adults to these family-friendly presentations.
