McDonald’s will launch its first nationwide loyalty program on July 8 via the McDonald’s app.
MyMcDonald’s Rewards will allow customers to unlock freebies by collecting 100 points for every one dollar spent on qualifying purchases. More points unlock different rewards, so there are more free McDonald’s menu options to choose from with each tier reached.
When customers sign up they will get 1,500 points after their first order using MyMcDonald’s Rewards, which means a choice of Hash Browns, Vanilla Cone, McChicken or a Cheeseburger can then be redeemed on the next order.
MyMcDonald’s Rewards is the latest addition to the retailer’s new digital experience growth engine, which includes kiosks in the restaurants, digital menu boards at the Drive Thru, McDelivery and the mobile app.
“We’re excited for you to experience MyMcDonald’s Rewards, including all of the craveable options you can look forward to as you rack up points once it arrives to a city near you,” the company said. “And stay tuned for even more rewards we’re excited to share – big and small – in the weeks to come.”
