HUDSON COUNTY, NJ - While a moratorium on evictions remains in place, Hudson County officials are taking another step to protect and support tenants adversely impacted economically by the COVID-19 global health crisis.

According to Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise officials are creating a rental assistance program. In an effort to make it as effective as possible a short survey has been launched and made available for renters to share the particular challenges they are facing.

“I urge renters impacted by the COVID19 shutdown to take this survey,” DeGise said. “The more we understand how renters have dealt with their landlords during this crisis, the better we can craft our program to support them.”
