People of all ages are invited to hear five local speakers offering mini-presentations addressing a variety of topics at the Northeast Colorado Creation Group’s meeting on May 12 in Fort Morgan. In an evening that promises to be both rapid-paced and fascinating, each presentation will be 10 minutes or less.
Marty Cochran will speak on the “One and Only Ice Age.” Candy Dixon will address the topic of “Water.” Paul Feltz will explain “God’s GPS System,” commenting on why horses and birds don’t get lost. Zach McFarland will comment on Noah’s Flood and its effect on sea life. Closing the evening, Kieth Washburn will discuss the Earth’s dying magnetism.
The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at Berean Bible Church, 211 W. Beaver Ave., Fort Morgan. It is free and open to all ages; refreshments will be served.
This meeting is sponsored by the Northeast Colorado Creation Group, a nonprofit, non-denominational ministry whose mission is to offer alternatives to evolutionary theory. This educational group brings in speakers, both local and national, for its free monthly meetings and welcomes children, teens and adults to these family-friendly presentations.
