Macy’s distribution center near Youngstown wins $1.9M in job-creation tax credits - cleveland.com

Macy’s Corporate Service LLC has been awarded Ohio Job Creation Tax Credits for a proposal to create 417 jobs at its distribution center in Mahoning County’s Jackson Township.

The tax credits would be worth $1.9 million if the company meets all the requirements of its job-creation agreement, said Todd Walker, chief communications officer for the Ohio Development Services Agency, in an email.

This project, which includes building a performance center at a cost of $30 million, is expected to create jobs with annual payroll of $16.8 million, Walt Good, managing director of Project Management for Team NEO in Cleveland, told commissioners of the Ohio Tax Credit Authority on Monday.
